| This book is designed to help requirements engineers prepare for the Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering Foundation Level exam as defined by the IREB. Requirements engineering tasks have become increasingly complex. In order to ensure a high level of knowledge and competency among requirements engineers, the International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB) developed a standardized qualification called the Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE).
