| Wildlife management is a very interesting subject and a very few books are available in this topic, some dealing with specific aspect while others are generic. Most of the books available are dealing with specific areas of wildlife management as per the expertise of the author and it is often found that these books do not cover the expanse of knowledge and science of what wildlife management is. While writing this book, the vastness of the topic with which wildlife management deals with in the current scenario has been duly kept in mind. We see the complexity of the problems, the enormity of the threat to wildlife, the intricacies of the techniques of management, the possibilities of applications with the advancement in technology. All these and many things put together make for a good reason to write a book from which everyone would be able to benefit from a single work.
